Supporting pharmacy development through Local Pharmaceutical Committees

Positive Solutions were proud to be an exhibitor at the LIPCO CPD event for all independent pharmacies in Leicestershire and Rutland on the 7th November.

The event was held at the Peepul Centre in Leicester City, with the specific purpose of updating pharmacy contractors on the latest developments of the Quality Payments System with specific focus on pharmacy services and management.

Rhiannon Lloyd and Rajesh Bahara from PSL attended the LIPCO CPD event, where there were over 70 delegates in attendance from the local area. PSL are delighted to have had the opportunity to speak with their customers and other community pharmacists about the challenges that they face in running successful pharmacy businesses.

Positive Solutions offer a number of services to support their software products in optimising pharmacy businesses, as both community hubs and profitable businesses. This includes things like Business Process Reviews and shop fitting, and technical consultancy to make sure our customers get the best out of their software.

Positive Solutions have previously been involved in a number LPC groups, having attended LPC groups meetings Greater Manchester and Coventry, as well as an information evening for Prescription Ordering Direct (POD).

LPC’s are an important part of the pharmacy network; they serve as great forums for pharmacy development and help to support an environment that allows community pharmacies to flourish. As a supporter of pharmacy businesses Positive Solutions is keen to support LPC’s in their encouragement of development and innovation in the community pharmacy sector, and we are very much looking forward to attending the upcoming Durham & Darlington LPC meeting.
